Entertainment Reporter

PETER Moyo and Andy Muridzo have something in common.

They both appeal to female fans.

Muridzo’s shows are known for attracting a lot of female fans and the same is also true for Peter.

The duo, who last shared the stage in Wedza last year on Christmas Day, will spend the weekend together.

Tomorrow, the pair performs in Kwekwe before they hold another double at Las Vegas in Harare on Sunday.

In an interview, Peter said he was looking forward to a successful weekend.

“I enjoy working with Muridzo but due to our demanding schedules, we couldn’t hold joint shows together.

“The last time we performed together was last year but I can’t recall the date.

“He once featured on one of my songs titled Kurera Haisi Nyore.

“From there we have been working together as professionals and we do enjoy each other’s company,” he said.

Peter said he was looking forward to the Kwekwe gig where he will be reunited with his kith and kin.

“As someone who was born and bred in Kwekwe, it feels good to be back home where we are set to perform at Club 5.

“I can’t wait to meet my fans,” he said.

Andy’s handlers said: “We can’t wait for the two shows since we are forging new alliances with other top musicians.

“Peter Moyo is a top performer and we will do our best when we share the stage with him.

“He is such an amazing artist to work with,” said Ronld Mujuru, Muridzo’s brand manager.
