Bombing incident probe: ZRP on forensic report

Police have said they are still compiling the forensic and laboratory report as investigations into the petrol bombing case of the Zimbabwe Institute of Legal Studies offices owned by Zanu PF Harare provincial chairperson Cde Godwills Masimirembwa continue.
The petrol bomb destroyed property while a security guard, who was also manning the premises sustained severe burns as a result of the attack.
The petrol bomb was allegedly thrown by an eight-man gang travelling in a three-vehicle convoy.
Police said the motive for the attack remains unknown and investigations into the case have been launched.
National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi, confirmed that investigations were still in progress.
A team of police experts was deployed to investigate the matter on Thursday.
