Cassper, Amanda’s hot romance cools off

CASSPER Nyovest and Amanda du-Pont’s hot romance seems to have fizzled out after reports du-Pont was allegedly caught snuggling up to a Free State businessman recently. There is no doubt that the two – who fuelled speculation they were a couple by attending events hand in hand, sharing a kiss on stage and uploading cozy selfies  –  were a match made in entertainment heaven.

After rap artiste Cassper Nyovest, real name Refiloe Phoolo, mentioned that he thought du-Pont was the only famous woman “tailored for him” on his song, Phumakim, she wasted no time in leaping up to his lyrical proposal. In less than a few months, the two started following each other on social networks Twitter and Instagram.

Then snaps of them spending quality time ensued and their infamous kiss at the Channel O Video Music Awards last year served to seal their budding romance.

But it seems that it has cooled off after a weekend tabloid published an article detailing du-Pont’s intimacy with married entrepreneur, Peter Sebiloane.

Since the report apparently exposed du-Pont’s overt friendliness with the businessman two weeks ago, Nyovest and du-Pont have not been spotted together.

When asked by Move magazine if he was seeing du-Pont, Nyovest maintained they were just good friends and a relationship never existed between the two of them.

Meanwhile, Nyovest will be heading to Zimbabwe next month for a performance at 1+1 Long Chen Plaza in Harare on February 14.

This will be his debut show in the country and he will share the stage with Tehn Diamond, Peekay and Seh Calaz. – TimesLive/Showbiz Reporter
