Midwest Rhinos gets major boost

KWEKWE-BASED cricket franchise side Midwest Rhinos received a major boost recently when its main sponsor South Africa-based food manufacturer, Simba through its Lays brand extended its sponsorship to include all the teams in its A and B Leagues.
The company entered into an agreement with Rhinos at the beginning of the season which has seen Rhinos receiving cricket equipment and a substantial cash injection.
MSU forced to set exam for one student

Midlands State University could be forced to set examinations for one student after the student successfully challenged the university’s decision to bar him from writing examinations in court.
The student, Believe Tevera, a member of the Student Representative Committee (SRC) was suspended for publishing an article in a daily paper condemning what he called harassment and subsequent arrest of some students by the MSU security personnel and the police during an SRC posts’ campaign at the university.

Mutepfa said this while testifying in the ongoing trial of former Zifa chief executive Henrietta Rushwaya who is accused of corruptly concealing transactions from a principal.
