Chapungu are on third position on the log and are therefore eyeing promotion should Tripple B points be docked.
In a letter dated 22 November signed by Chapungu secretary Charles Chikwira, the airmen allege Nyamutsaka was registered by Kiglon Bird for the 2011 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.
“The above mentioned player was registered by Kiglon FC for the PSL 2011 season. It is understood he left Kiglon FC under unclear circumstances later to resurface during the Central Soccer League 2011 window period as a Tripple B FC player.
“The information is that the player was cleared by someone purporting to be an executive member of Kiglon FC who is authorised to clear players for the club yet he is not,” wrote Chapungu.
Chapungu said Kiglon FC executive had indicated Nyamutsaka was still their player.
“When we contacted the Kiglon FC executive they said they were not in the picture on the whereabouts of the player and they even indicated that Witness Nyamutsaka was still their player and were even shocked to hear that he was playing for Tripple B FC.
“It seems that the executive of Tripple B did not even bother to follow article 5.7 on the Players and Player Transfer.
“It is against the above background that a request is being made to your good office to look into this issue as a matter of urgency,” wrote Chikwira.
The above case follows hard on the heels of another case in which Hardbody were docked 42 points for using an “illegal or irregularly registered player” Tatenda Chingara without a reverse international clearance certificate.
Meanwhile, the curtain comes down tomorrow with matches lined up in the region.
