Cheetahs name squad

FIVE months after they were last involved in competitive action, Zimbabwe’s Cheetahs will get back to business when they host the Kwese Victoria Falls Sevens in the resort town at the end of this month. The World Cup-bound Cheetahs will also come under the spotlight as they will the team with the biggest profile at the tournament scheduled for March 24-25 and will be one of four African sides at the global showcase.

Team manager Donald “Brasco” Mangenje announced a squad that is laced with some foreign-based stars, which is expected to go into camp on Monday.

Mangenje announced a squad that has also drawn players from Europe and South Africa whom the technical crew would want to assess before the Cheetahs first head off to Hong Kong for the World Series qualifiers before stepping up the act in preparation for the World Cup in the United States in July.
