A FORM Three pupil at Beaulah Heights Secondary School has fallen in love with art and drawing and has set sights on commercialising her works. Tildah Musuka, who resides in Chikanga, said she was fascinated and inspired by art work and animation contained on cartoons. She dreams of becoming an animator when she finishes school and marketing her products abroad.
The 15-year-old girl can draw a facsimile of any object as well as human beings using pens, markers and pencils.
She said in an interview recently that she realised her dream when she was doing Grade Five at St Joseph’s Primary School. She was 10 at that time.
“My primary school teachers were impressed by my art work and creativity and they would encourage and motivate me by acquiring bond paper for me to draw anything that came into my head. Some teachers would ask me to draw some art works of different animals on charts. They would love it. I owe them a lot because they nurtured my talent and passion for art. That encouraged me a lot and I now dream of taking this more seriously. I need support and constant motivation,” she said.
