Christos comes to town

THE Godfather of South African house and kwaito music DJ Christos, real name Christos Katsaitis, is back in Bulawayo after more than five years and will hold a show this Friday night at Club Eden.

Umlungu Omnyama as DJ Christos is known, is expected to jet in at 12noon on Friday and will be supported by local DJs Slamma, Keezy and Kananjo at the evening show.

The veteran DJ, who established Kalawa Jazzmee with DJ Oskido and produced in his over 25-year experience, the likes of Boom Shaka, the late Lebo Mathosa and DJ Black Coffee, is a legend in South African house music.

Speaking on the upcoming show, Club Eden resident DJ Kananjo said DJ Christos’ show was meant to kick start the December festive mood.
