Crocker maintained his composure in third round to bounce back into contention ahead of the final round.
The 15-year-old Zimbabwean carded 71, 70 and 67 to go into the final round on five-under-par overall 208.
Crocker was tied with Bobby Gojuangco and Ricky deSantis.
Jonah Texeira, an American, was leading the field on six-under-par after the three rounds.
Playing off three-handicap Crocker may make history by winning the prestigious event. The player has participated in three events so far this season winning two of them and finish tied for fourth place finish in one.
Crocker is the only Zimbabwean in the tournament as another junior golfer, Franco Mbongeni Maphosa, is at the 2012 British Junior Golf Open Championships.
The tournament is being played at Fairhaven golf club in United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, after missing the cut last week, Zimbabwean golfer Brendon de Jonge, returns to the field this week in the John Deere Classic.
De Jonge, who is in good form, was part of the field at the US$4.6 million tournament at TPC Deere Run, Silvis, Illinois. The burly player had a good outing in last year’s John Deere Classic when he finished in 11th place.
