PERENNIAL top three achiever, Collin Kanyimo believes there is nothing to stop him from stepping on the podium when the Manicaland Cross Country contest gets underway on Saturday in Mutare.
The battle hardened long distance runner has been among the top three athletes in the previous 10 editions of the event.
His preparations for the Manicaland Cross Country race were made thorough after he recently had a spell at a High Performance Centre in South Africa where he also took part in a number of races.
Kanyimo said he has been preparing for the race and is looking forward to scooping yet another medal.
“I have performed well each time I participated in the Manicaland Cross Country race and I have no doubt in my mind that I will do the same this year.
“I am looking forward to the event and hope many of my colleagues will also be part of it,” said Kanyimo.
