Dee Nosh to host Jah Prayzah and Zhakata

It’s just four days before the nation celebrates 35 years of Independence with some musicians geared for the celebration.
Top disc jockey Dee Nosh in conjunction with Kadoma Odyssey hotel are set to host two musicians from different worlds as part of the Independence celebrations.

Jah Prayzah and Leonard Zhakata are billed to share the stage at a one night gig which will also feature some local DJs who include Tony, Knox and Dee Nosh.

In an interview one of the organiser Dee Nosh – real name Kudzai Matondo – said preparations are at an advanced stage for the show.

“We are hosting the show as part of 35 years of Independence celebrations and fans have a rare opportunity to witness ‘Kumbumura Mhute’ hitmaker going head to head with Zora king Leonard Zhakata,” he said.

Dee Nosh said he was happy with how the two musicians have combined especially on this occasion.

“Independence is a developmental stepping stone to a healthier variety of interdependence and community. Again I am also using the opportunity to market my skills in hosting and venturing into having my own shows,” he said.

Jah Prayzah manageress Filda Muchabaiwa promised fans a great show as the nation celebrates a great day.

“Independence Day is very important in the history of the country and it is very important as artistes to give our fans the best on such shows,” she said.

Zhakata said it was an honour to share stage with one of the greatest musicians in the country on such an important day.

“We will give our best so that people celebrate the birth of Zimbabwe. Such a day is important in our lives and we are preparing for the show,” he said.
