DYNAMOS’ preparations for Saturday’s Chibuku Super Cup final have been blighted by an ankle injury that is stalking star striker Rodrick Mutuma.
The inform striker , who starred in the Warriors’ qualification for next year’s Chan final in Rwanda as he scored three goals over the two legged tie, sat out Wednesday’s training session at Prince Edward High School.

Takesure Chinyama did some light training alongside diminutive midfielder Ronald Chitiyo but word coming from the DeMbare camp is that this was just a precautionary measure.
On the positive fullbacks Ocean Mushure and Blessing Moyo who were in the Warriors squad are back in full training.
With the league title seemingly beyond DeMbare’s reach, Tonderai Ndiraya – who is in the hot seat on an interim basis – will probably have his future at the Glamour Boys decided by the outcome of Saturday’s cup final.
Ndiraya told the media last weekend that his focus had shifted to the cup final where DeMbare still have control over their destiny.
“I have already said it (league race) is no longer in our hands . . . Our focus is now on the Cup final where we have control of our destiny,” he said.
A ticket to next year’s CAF Confederation Cup awaits the Chibuku Super Cup winners.
