GUNS, MACHETES & MAYHEM: Robber caged for supernatural raid!

B-Metro Reporter

A SUPERMARKET heist kingpin will spend the next decade behind bars after a violent robbery left a Harare community shaken!
Pride Hamandishe (39) was sentenced to 12 years by the Harare Regional Magistrates’ Court for his role in a terrifying armed robbery at Chipaz Supermarket on 20 October 2024.
Wielding a pistol and machete, Hamandishe and his gang burst into the store, ordered terrified workers to the ground, and looted US$1 958, mobile phones, and a DVR system valued at a total of US$2 458.
In a chilling move, they force-marched a staffer to the CCTV room to kill the cameras — but the law caught up with Hamandishe after a brave witness positively identified him.
The magistrate handed down a tough sentence: 12 years behind bars, with 2 years suspended — but only if Hamandishe pays back the stolen money.
No loot was recovered. Crime doesn’t pay!
