Haulage truck veers off the road, driver and passenger(s) killed in inferno

A yet to be established number of people died on Thursday when a haulage truck they were travelling in veered off the road near the 175-kilometre peg along the Harare-Chirundu Highway.

The haulage truck landed on its roof before it was engulfed by flames.

Mashonaland West provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Ian Kohwera confirmed the accident this morning and said more details will be availed in due course.
