‘I CONTEMPLATED SUICIDE BUT GOD SAVED ME’

GOSPEL musician Simbarashe ‘Minister Simba’ Mutsvangwa has revealed that he contemplated suicide as he battled through life’s challenges before finding peace of mind to concentrate on his calling.

The singer has now launched his third album, ‘Change Gate’, which carries six tracks.

Minister Simba’s other albums are ‘Anoita Minana’ and ‘God’s Will’.

“I grew up as an orphan and I faced a lot in my life to the extent of thinking of killing myself,” he told H-Metro. I thought death was the solution to my problems and it would save me from all my problems.

“But Apostle Wiseman came as an angel to guide me and help me overcome what I was going through.”

He added:

“I have been growing in the industry step by step since 2021 and I have managed to drop my third album despite the challenges.

“The album was named after my spiritual father ‘Apostle Wiseman Rushwaya.’

“I never gave up on my career although I faced many challenges due to my financial situation and lack of sponsorship.

“I am still going due to God’s grace.”

Minister Simba has collaborated with Trymore Bande.

“I engaged mukoma Bande and the latest offering is more about using music to help people who are going through a lot.

“We did a song together called ‘Joseph Warota.’  It was hard to reach out to him but by God’s grace takakwanisa kuita song tese.

“I am looking to continue with my musical journey so that people receive God’s message through music.

“I also implore well-wishers, who can help financially, to come through so that we manage to do our best.”
