FORMER Norton legislator Temba Mliswa says Killer T is a phenomenal artist and a role model for millions of young people in the country as he is not involved in drugs or sucked into scandals.
Killer T is billed to perform this Saturday at Spring Resort Waterfront in Karoi. He will be supported by Ndunge YUT, Cello, Culture and Transit Crew, DJ Dahtaxy, Templeman and DJ Tanaman.
“He works hard and not only that he preaches the anti drug and substance abuse message, it’s a message to the young people that we must stop the scourge.
“He will be in Karoi to amplify the anti drugs and substance abuse.
“We are telling the young generation that “siyai mutoriro, siyai guka’,” said Mliswa.
He added:
“That’s the opening summer event for us going into the festive season, we are opening with Killer T.
“Killer T anorira and you cannot doubt that and you cannot at all stop the momentum that he has.
“We now have a company called Bhuru Entertainment. I also want the best for my people.
“So, this keeps us together, pumping and being united. Music unites. So it’s a pleasure to host him.”
He said their relationship goes back a long way.
“You saw the shows I used to do with him. I am bringing Harare to Karoi. Even people from Harare will attend the show but we are trying to make sure that our people in those areas come through.”
Killer T’s manager Kudzai Biston said fans should expect a massive show.
“It’s been almost five years since Killer T last performed in Karoi so l just want to invite all the people in Karoi and nearby areas to come in their numbers,” said Biston.
