Man bans wife from going to church over prostitution

A Harare man is accusing his wife of cheating after she recently bought a vehicle from unexplained wealth.

He is also suspecting that his wife was in a relationship with his nephew.

Anesuishe Muza was brought before the Harare Civil Court by his wife, Miriam Muza ,who is seeking a protection order against him. He is accusing her of sleeping with his nephew and is now chasing her away.

Miriam told the court that her husband had beaten her. “My child once called me during the night after she had a nightmare.

“She wanted me to help her with prayers and my husband followed where he beat me claiming that l was lying and that l had gone to attend to the child.

“He said that l had gone to see my boyfriends and he hit me with an iron bar.

“He also banned me from going to church of which l have a position in church.”

Anesuishe disputed the claims.

“I do not want my children to undermine me and get bad influence from their mother.

“There is a car that is kept on my premises and l do not know where it came from, am suspecting that she got it from her boyfriends.

“She once slept with my niece and l just let it go.

“During sex even if do not enjoy it, she can just say she is tired and force me to get over her. She should leave my house because l cannot stay with another man in my house.”

The Harare Magistrate Meenal Narotom granted Miriam a protection order.
