MAN COMMITS SUICIDE AT APOSTOLIC SHRINE

A 40-YEAR-OLD man hung himself at an apostolic shrine using a white cloth.

Ephraim Moyo was found dead on Wednesday after he hung himself on a tree branch.

A woman found the deceased’s body when she was fetching firewood in the bush and alerted the police.

Acting Manicaland police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Wiseman Chinyoka, confirmed that Moyo, of Jarare Village, under Chief Chireya of Gokwe, hung himself.

“The deceased hung himself using a white cloth.

“Police attended the scene and retrieved the body from the tree before it was taken to Victoria Chitepo Provincial Hospital for post-mortem.”
