A 25-year-old man from Bulawayo has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for sodomising his 13-year-old nephew.
The man appeared before the Western Commonage Magistrates’ Court in Bulawayo facing aggravated indecent assault charges.
According to the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe, the incident happened on June 24, 2024, when the two were sharing a bed.
The court heard that the matter came to light when the complainant reported to his mother and a police report was made leading to the arrest of the accused person
