Manna type of prosperity!

WHEN one hears the word Manna, he or she can quickly think of a good God who cares and give his people food while they do nothing.

Anyone can envy that type of living which is sweat free, so was the case of the Children of Israel in the wilderness. However, this has caused many people to be complacent in their faith and waited on the God of manna to provide for their needs while folding their hands.

Their duty is to wake-up and pray like heavy machines guns that pull down strongholds and release the anointing that brings manna money in their bank accounts and food in their fridges without depositing anything or paying any cent.

God is now viewed as a luck charm and some people no longer put the love of seeking God & his righteousness, so is part of this generation “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:33. The above scripture is no longer a priority of other church goers as they desire a microwave and manna type of prosperity.

God created everything first before he sent Adam to look after the Garden of Eden. He had to maintain it in order to eat the produce of that garden. The fact that God had given him everything did not mean Adam had to fold his hands and do nothing .

We understood through the Bible that when Adam fell, God also cursed the ground not a person. Adam was told to eat from his sweat. Although Christ came to reverse the curse of sin, he did not remove the law of working, instead the grace made it easy through the finished work of the cross. Grace will cause one to tape and partake in the power that can prosper him or she in whatsoever he or she does with minimum struggles. The secret is to love God and to work.

Paslm 1vs1-3. Whatever you touch will prosper and God can give you the power to get wealth provided you are following every principle and laws of prosperity correctly.

Christ was made poor so that you can be rich. 2Corith 8 vs 9 .One can realize true prosperity after applying a principle of working and other supportive laws of prosperity. (We cannot discuss these principles at this stage). When I talk of work, I am not referring to those who are formally employed only, but I mean doing something with your own hands that can generate income.

The Bible did not say God will give you power to pick manna but power to get wealth, Deut 8 vs 18 Kjv He promised to bless the work of your hands, meaning one has to work with his/her hands in order to be blessed or to get wealth. God cannot bless nothing . The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: Deuteronomy 28:12Kjv

I would like to quickly point out that when God provided Manna to the Children of Israel they were in transit towards the Promised Land. God never meant that they should continue to pick manna for the rest of their lives. Therefore Manna was a temporal provision.

Actually Manna is a sign that you are still in Wilderness. Real prosperity is not wealth or money that comes overnight and disappears the following morning. Real wealth comes through working.

Though God blesses people miraculously, expecting magical prosperity is living in false hope. The scripture below shows us how God ushered his children in real prosperity through work.

Joshua 5:10 So the children of Israel put up their tents in Gilgal; and they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, in the lowlands of Jericho.11 And on the day after the Passover, they had for their food the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and dry grain on the same day.12 And there was no more manna from the day after they had for their food the produce of the land; the children of Israel had manna no longer (manna ceased), but that year the produce of the land of Canaan was their food.BBE

The moment they touched the land of Canaan and ate the produce of that land, Manna disappeared. It ceased and God stopped to provide for them by way of manna.

What was God saying? “it’s time up, you better use your hands and I will bless you,it’s no longer manna picking holiday but work, produce with your hands!!

He had sustained them with manna temporally (in Wilderness) as they went to their promised land of milk and honey.

To enjoy that milk and honey in Canaan they had to fight for their space and plough. They had to do practical farming. The milk and honey was not literally flowing but was a promise of prosperity of whatever they touch and do.

God blesses people amazingly and abundantly, he can also do more than what we ask or think but one need to follow his principles. Praying to God to bless you without taking appropriate action of working and putting seeds down can cause you to harvest wind. Manna was temporal provision, it is not a basis of forming a doctrine of work free prosperity were members are told to call money to come in their wallet and bank accounts .

To be a Manna confessing Christian can take you ages to reach your Canaan (prosperity). Misleading people by faith confession that is not supported by proper word of God can frustrate people when they see no results.

Confessing or claiming a promise of a blessing in the word of God is like having a mining claim with your name written on it. However as long as you do not put measures to mine or to manually work on the claim you receive nothing.

Confessing without working will produce nothing. Confessing what you shall be and practically work it can produce results. Hence we had many Christians who died confessing prosperity but never enjoyed it.

God had a bigger picture of blessing that comes through the work of their hands in Canaan than picking manna every day in the wilderness. Despite that people may face economic challenges and financial difficulties God`s principles are always effective, people should not resort to some sort of magical prosperity.

Working is still a principle that is effective today, if one need to prosper. You can agree with me that individuals, believers or non-believers who worked hard are now enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Nations that applied the principle of working with their hands are becoming economic giants. What more children of God if they mix their faith, confess the promises of God`s word and then practically work, they can do prosper. They can flourish.

The Bible says “A good man leaves an inheritance for his children’s children”, Prov 13:22 NIV. Manna was temporal and it was even difficult to store it or to keep it for the next day so shall be the wealth that comes through magic. No inheritance from manna type of prosperity! One can leave inheritance of a well traced prosperity acquired through the help of God and working.

Although God can miraculously bless people without their effort, it is not the reason to abandon the principles that are applicable on this earth and wait upon God without doing anything .You can prosper by applying God `s principles. Believe God to prosper your work then wait upon him to give you a fruit Harvest.
