FORMER CAPS United player Eric Manokore believes he has much more to offer.
Manokore hit headlines this year at CAPS United when he missed a penalty against MWOS in a bizarre manner, before crossing the floor to join FC Platinum.
Now at FC Platinum, the midfielder, who is also played as a fullback, seems not to have reached the potential his talent promised.
Under Norman Mapeza, he has featured in 11 games, starting three against Manica Diamonds, Ngezi Platinum, and Triangle. The other eight, he has been used as a second half substitute mainly introduced in the 46th minute.
“No, I am nowhere near to be a spent force,” Manokore exclusively told Zimpapers Sports Hub.
“In football a lot of things happen and if you lose focus you might fail to bounce back.
“The CAPS United exit opened doors for me, now in Zvishavane, it’s a new experience I am still on my learning curve and I am liking it.
“There is a lot of competition in the team and it won’t allow one to relax but to work. I believe I still have the energy and steam to remain on top of my game for quite some years.”
