Police Commissioner General Godwin Matanga this Thursday awarded more than 40 female police officers for excelling in curbing crime, and sporting activities, among others.
Comm Gen Matanga was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Generals Stephen Mutamba and Elliot Ngirandi and senior officers include national police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi and chief director Criminal Investigation Department Jealous Nyabasa among others.
The female officers who were awarded were drawn from various departments and sections countrywide and the event was hosted by the ZRP Women Network.
They received trophies and certificates during the ceremony.
