The Minister of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, Anselem Nhamo Sanyatwe, has congratulated newly crowned Miss Tourism Zimbabwe, Zanele Moyo, following her victory last weekend.

The minister met Moyo at the ongoing Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) while touring the Zimpapers stand at the Ministry of Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services pavilion. Moyo and her entourage were also touring exhibition stands when they crossed paths.

Upon seeing her, Minister Sanyatwe congratulated the beauty queen and wished her success during her reign.

Moyo is set to represent Zimbabwe at a continental pageant later this year.

Speaking to Zimpapers Arts and Entertainment Hub, she expressed gratitude to the media for its support.

Commenting on her experience at ZITF, Moyo said the event has been insightful, allowing her to engage with various brands and government officials.
“Youths, please make sure you attend this year’s edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair. There’s so much to learn, from collaboration opportunities to investment prospects,” she said.

“This is a life-changing opportunity where you get to meet many brands, so make sure you come through. I have connected with different exhibitors and learnt a lot, including about their cultures. It’s a great platform to understand other countries and what they offer.”
