Mixed fortunes for Zim Bowling team

Tom Craven and Manuel Silva managed to bowl well and beat Botswana 23-17 in a tough encounter.
The pairs made Zimbabwe proud after they had battled so hard and were rewarded with a victory.
But while the pairs team walked tall, it turned out to be a sad day for the trips who had done well in their past matches.
They suffered a 12-17 defeat at the hands of Botswana.
South Africa continued with their momentum after another outstanding performance in the two games.
In their first match of the day the South Africa Pairs team beat Kenya 22-11 before getting their second victory in the trips were they won 18-13.
Pairs skipper Billy Radloff said their performance was brilliant.
“We are very happy after our excellent performance we have won all our six games and we remain with one against Botswana.
“I am sure we will do well and we are still in the top,” said Radloff.
The hosts got another game in the afternoon when they beat Kenya 20-15 in the trips.
Namibia also had a good day on the greens, after an impressive performance against Zambia.
In the pairs Namibia beat Zambia 28-11 and the trips team was also in the top form and beat Zambia 18-9.
Namibia’s Skip Graham Snyman says his team has improved.
“We have really improved and I believe we will keep playing well and we glad we are in the running for a gold,” said Snyman.
In the women category, Namibia’s pairs team beat Zambia 17-12 and they even improved in the trips were they beat them 26-12.
Jane Rigby and Debbie Robertson peeled 14-14 against Botswana.
