Mukonoweshuro gets service excellence award

The award was presented to Mrs Mukonoweshuro at the Zimbabwe Service Excellence Awards dinner held last Friday in Harare.
Kingdom Bank Limited came out as second runner-up in the service excellence awards (Financial Services Sector) category.

In a statement, AfrAsia Kingdom said the Most Focused Executive of the Year award recognised executives who would have demonstrated vision and leadership in building their organisations with strong customer viewpoint.

“The Service Excellence Awards for the sectors recognises excelling organisations in the consumer facing industry involved in the delivery of customer,” said the financial institution.

In accepting the honour, Mrs Mukonoweshuro thanked AKZL staff for the team work without which she could not have received the award.

“Excellence and wealth creation are the hallmarks of our services achieved through the observance of our values of communication, respect, integrity, learning, teamwork and excellence. At AKZL, through our payoff-line Greater as One, we value our customers’ feedback and comments.  In pursuit of this objective, AKZL customer call centre operates 24 hours a day,” she said.

She said as part of offering better service to customers, the bank opened a new more spacious branch at Karigamombe Centre in Harare and was in the process of relocating the Gweru branch to a new location, which will be bigger and more spacious.

“We have added two new MicroKing Finance branches in Murehwa and Gokwe for the convenience of our MicroKing clients. To help support our branch network, we have 27 ATMs strategically positioned around the country for the convenience of our clients.”

The Zimbabwe Service Excellence Awards ceremony was organised and managed by the Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe in partnership with Ministry of Tourism, Consumer Council of Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe Tourism Authority in honour of organisations and individuals that would have excelled in customers services delivery.
