Mxolisi “Mr Bones” Ndlovu showcased his immense pulling power on Friday night, launching his latest album to a full house at the Palace Hotel in Bulawayo. The venue has become a hotspot for Rhumba artistes, and fans were eager to see him perform live since the release of his album Ugobela UsaGqiza, which is making waves among Rhumba enthusiasts.

The album has sparked creativity among content creators on social media, with fans interpreting the songs through dance and drama.

Mr Bones and his front-line team delivered an entertaining performance, backed by a top-notch sound system that left no room for error. Following the Bulawayo launch, Mr Bones and his team headed to Filabusi for another performance on Saturday. Throughout two nights on stage, he played both beloved classic tracks and samples from his new album.
“The turnout was amazing; the venue was full as fans wanted to hear the new album. I’m very happy with the support we received. What I learned from that show is that people love us and miss our performances. Personally, I also enjoyed playing for them because it was just an amazing crowd that wanted to enjoy the night,” Mr Bones said.

In addition to the successful performance, the team sold out all their merchandise, including T-shirts and USBs.

As a composer of Gaxani Amajazi, Mr Bones is looking forward to his next stop in Cape Town, South Africa, on November 2, where he enjoys a loyal following.

Welcome “DJ Keitho” Ndiweni, responsible for entertainment at Palace Entertainment, expressed his surprise at the strong attendance despite the late promotion.
“The show was highly attended, even though we put the posters up late. As we enter the festive season, fans should brace for the Insimbi ZeZhwane album launch, the Madlela EP launch, and Mcebisi of Amathonga Amahle’s first show in Bulawayo,” he said. – Follow on X @themkhust
