NEW: Cape-town Samp Army ready for Zim-Afro T10

One of the six franchises that are set to participate in the second edition of the Zim-Afro T10 edition, Cape Town Samp Army has promised massive entertainment to cricket fans.

Cape Town Samp Army will be participating in the second edition of the Zim-Afro T10 for the second year running.

Speaking during the presentation of the jersey to players of the franchise, Cape-town Samp Army owner, Ritesh Patel promised fans of entertaining cricket during the second edition of the tournament.

“We are here to entertain Zimbabwean fans, and that is why there are six Zimbabwean players in my team.

“I hope to get the support of the local fans,” said Patel.

Cape Town Samp Army captain Rohan Mustafa is confident that his charges have what it takes to clinch the trophy.

“I am delighted and excited to have world-class players from all over the world. The format demands quick but composed action on the field and I am sure this team has the right temperament to succeed,” said Mustafa.

Cape Town Samp Army begin their campaign today with a date against Harare Bolts.
