NEWLY appointed Chicken Inn media officer Brighton Ncube plans to establish an amicable working relationship with members of the Fourth Estate.
Ncube was appointed the Gamecocks media officer last week and he takes over from Nkululeko Nkala, who has been assigned to another task with the club.
“My vision is to create an easy working relationship with the media, engage the Press through our Chicken Inn FC Thursday Press Conference with our gaffer,” said Ncube.

Two-time championship winning coach Tonderai Ndiraya is now in charge at the Gamecocks.
He replaced veteran gaffer Joey Antipas, who had been with the former league champions for several years, winning the league championship in 2015.
Ncube, an experienced media practitioner underscored that, there will be need to attract the young fans to their home and away matches, through engagements on social media.
“We want to make football and supporting Chicken Inn FC more attractive and an amazing experience.”
He said they would want to translate the online engagement, interactions to offline conversations, and see their replica jerseys all over and being worn by fans.
“Plans are for more use of digital media to engage the fans. Use of mainstream media to update on the club’s activities for more visibility for the club,” he said.

The Gamecocks recently engaged in a restructuring exercise that saw them change their technical team and bring a number of new players.
In their technical department, the Simbisa Brands sponsored outfit hired Naison Muchekela and Fortune “Fokoza” Ncube as first and second assistant coaches, respectively.
Muchekela takes over from Philani Mabhena and Ncube replaces Guide Goddard, who is now with the club’s developmental side as head coach.
Goddard is assisted by his former teammates Ben Nyaunzvi and Danny “Deco” Phiri.
The club also brought in their former holding midfielder Tafadzwa Kutinyu as Performance Analyst.
Zwanayi Kawadza is now the team’s goalkeepers coach.
He replaced Energy Murambadoro, who is now in the books of Simba Bhora with Mabhena. —@Fungai.Muderere
