President Mnangagwa has officiated at the Manicaland Youth Forum and belated Africa Youth Day celebrations at Magamba Vocational Training Centre in Mutare where he emphasised the importance of youths in the country’s development.
In his address, the President said it was important for young people to shun drugs and substance abuse.
“Youths are the future of our country and its development, but they cannot do that if they abuse drugs and alcohol,” he said.
The President said the youths should be empowered in the use of the latest technologies for them to be able to spearhead development.
