‘Niece hired thugs to attack me’

A HARARE woman is accused of having recently hired thugs to attack her aunt following a misunderstanding.

Lenis Dzvuke has since approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against her niece Mildred Dengnezi.

“We were at a funeral in Marondera and I called Mildred’s little sister telling her that we should resolve our differences as they don’t respect me as their aunt.

“After the funeral, Mildred came to my house with a gang of girls.

“She threatened to kill me or just to make me disappear,” said Lenis.

In her defence, Mildred said her aunt was a bully, who lies and talks too much.

“For one to get respected, they have to respect others.

“Lenis does not deserve our respect.

“She shouts at everyone in the family and she is very violent.”

The matter was dismissed for lack of merit.
