Police in Mashonaland East province have arrested Tambudzai Manjera (24) after she severely assaulted another woman following a misunderstanding.
The incident was captured on camera, and the video clip immediately went viral, exposing Manjera and her accomplice.
In the video, the victim was stripped naked, and two women took turns to assault her severely.
The reason behind the act is still yet to be established.
Soon after the video clip went viral, the law enforcement agents took no time to institute investigations which led to the arrest of Manjera.
National Police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrest in a statement, adding that another suspect, Tanaka Manjera is still at large.
“Reference is made to the video circulating on social media platforms in which two women are seen brutally assaulting a naked woman over infidelity allegations,” he said.
“The ZRP confirms that the incident occurred in Uzumba – Maramba -Pfungwe on February 20, 2026 and Tambudzai Manjera (24) has since been arrested in connection with this case.
“Her accomplice Tanaka Manjera (22) is still at large. More information will follow in due course.”
