Police funfair cancelled, postponed

THE Commissioner General of Police’s annual funfair that was supposed to be held in Bulawayo at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair grounds today has been postponed to a later date. According to ZRP national spokesperson Paul Nyathi, a new date for the funfair will be set soon.

“Members of the public are being advised that the Commissioner General of Police Funfair, which was scheduled to be held at the ZITF grounds in Bulawayo on July 9, 2016, has been postponed.

“You’ll be advised of the new date soon,” said Nyathi in a statement.

The annual funfair was to be held for the first time in Bulawayo with a star studded line-up of artistes such as Sekunjalo maAfrica Dance group members celebrating after winning the Chibuku Neshamwari Bulawayo Provincial competitions held in Habane Beer garden, Esigodini, Matebeleland South yesterday., Iyasa, Clement Magwaza, Jeys Marabini, Charles and Olivier Charamba and Sulumani Chimbetu.
