Bulawayo’s rap sensation Noluntu J reaffirmed her status as one of the country’s most formidable hip-hop acts after clinching the Best Live Act award at the 15th edition of the Zim Hip Hop Awards.

The ceremony was held in Harare on Friday, drawing some of the biggest names in Zimbabwean hip hop.

The accolade comes as a major morale boost for Noluntu J as she gears up for a defining moment in her career, hosting her headline show, #FillUpTheSittingRoom, scheduled for December 19 at the Bulawayo Theatre. The award further cements her reputation as a dynamic performer whose stage presence continues to win over audiences nationwide.

Meanwhile, Harare-based rapper Bling4 emerged as the night’s biggest winner, walking away with two gongs, Best Male and Best Hip Hop Hustle, underlining his growing influence in the genre.

The awards ceremony also paid tribute to icons who have shaped the culture.
