adminDANCEHALL supremo Sniper proved why he is one of the sought after musicians in Zimbabwe after putting up a top drawer performance last Friday night at Villa Spot Nite Club in Dangamvura.
Several upcoming dancehall musicians the likes of Robert “Tony D” Tondoya had warmed the stage for Sniper with some fine performances that left tens of revellers who showed up for the show in ecstasy.
He put up well-choreographed acts with hits such as Amai, Taxi Driver, Chimoko change, Maoko mudenga, Reverse Gear, Mamacita and Maghuetto Yuts.
Wheel spinners DJ Ranga and Candyman were also on top of their game.
It was a perfect official opening for the entertainment centre Villa Spot which was opening its doors for the first time.
Club publicist Trynos Chigwidi said he was overwhelmed by the bumper crowd that attended the official opening which drew patrons from across Mutare.
Sniper appeared on stage just after midnight and wowed fans until the wee hours of Saturday.
Dressed in a military green outfit, the energetic talented chanter belted out hit after hit – a blend of old and new hits such as Kwarira mukati, Love yemusoja, Ndakabata Min, One room, Musikana ane tundebvu and Gotsi papata.
The gifted lyricist, who boasts of five albums to date, said in an interview after the show that his fans should brace up for a red-hot album that will feature several artistes.
