SOLDIER TORMENTS WIFE

A BED-HOPPING soldier has been accused of harassing his wife each time he is confronted over his extra marital affairs.

Lizzy Maoko, who is employed as a policewoman, has approached the Harare Civil Court seeking a protection order against Moreblessing Makuera.

“Moreblessing is very abusive and I have tried to approach the chaplain at my workplace and even the public relations officer but to no avail.

“He has got many girlfriends and if I ask him about them, he beats me up, he also dates every maid that we employ at our home.

“He does not buy groceries for the children saying I should take that responsibility because l also work.

“He insults me in front of my children and now they also use that bad language towards me,” said Lizzy.

In defence, Moreblessing said:

“I do not refute the allegations but I want my wife to forgive me because I still love her and also my children.”

Magistrate Sharon Mashavire granted the application in Lizzy’s favour.
