Stunner quits marriage

FLAMBOYANT rapper, Desmond “Stunner” Chideme, says he is not interested in marriage anymore.

The Godo singer recently had a spectacular fallout with his former wife Dyonne, which prompted him to return to bachelorhood.

Stunner, who is now back in the country from a lengthy South Africa tour, said he has made his mind.

“I am now single again and I’m not interested in having a wife again, I’m done.

“I will finish my life as a senior bachelor,” said the 42-year-old rapper.

Stunner, who also had a failed relationship with Olinda before Dyonne, said he was now focused on his two daughters, and music career.

“I’m proud of my two girls and they mean the world to me.

“Them (daughters) and my music is all I want to focus on now, nothing else,” he added.

Stunner also denied having been in South Africa for a long time due to the drama around him and his baby mama, Dyonne.

“Many people were asking me if I’m ever coming back, they thought I had gone for good because of all the drama that was going on.

“I was working, I did about 10 gigs, excluding the private parties, over a period of  just over 40 days. I think this has to be the first real away on the road tour I have had.

“It went really well, with a positive outcome on the brand and the music, since I had rarely performed in South Africa. It was like introducing a new artist and the crowds kept getting larger, filling up venues with every show.

“Musically, we managed to introduce new music like Stella (a dance song) which got the crowd in a frenzy all the time.

“Our social media numbers have gone up since the tour as well,” he added.

Stunner will have a big homecoming gig tomorrow at Solomons Lifestyle Cafe in Glen View. The gig is being sponsored by Boss Spencer Madziya. He will be supported by an array of artists like Trevor Dongo, Sniper Storm, Guspy Warrior and Ndunge Yut.

“I want to thank everyone that supports Stunner and his music. I know a lot of my fans missed me back home, I’m back. The first homecoming gig is this Saturday, thanks to Boss Spencer.

“Let’s come in numbers at Solomons Lifestyle Cafe in Glen View and have a good time,” he added.
