NEW: Suspect sought in US$300k fraud case

Police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a fraud case involving US$300 000 in Bulawayo.

A reward of US$10 000 is being offered to anyone who provides credible information that can lead to the identification, location and arrest of the suspect.

In a statement, police said the suspect defrauded a local firm and fled and have since released a picture of the suspect.

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police is urgently appealing for information which may lead to the identification, location and subsequent arrest of a most wanted person,” said the police.

“The suspect is being sought in connection with a fraud case of US$300 000 which occurred in Bulawayo. The suspect defrauded a local firm and disappeared.

“A reward of US$10 000 is being offered to anyone who will give credible information on the identity and location, leading to the arrest of the suspect.”
