Tanto Wavie, Stacy Macheso collabo

CHITUNGWIZA-BASED artist, Shingirai “Tanto Wavie” Makaza, has collaborated with Stacy Macheso on the single titled Unoona.

Stacy is the daughter of sungura legend, Alick Macheso.

In an interview with H-Metro, Tanto Wavie said the song was recorded in December last year.

“The track Unoona is a love song that describes my relationship with Stacy Macheso.

“We have been helping each other to write the lyrics and it’s something that we have been working on for a while now,” he said.

Tanto Wavie said he will always cherish the experience he had with Stacy in the production of the single.

“We just wanted to set an example of how you can work hand-in-hand with your colleague and also introduce the legend’s daughter to the music world.

“I am the one who produced the song beat and I also mastered the song,” he said.

Stacy said she was living her dream.

“For me, music was not something new as it runs in the family. I always see my father working, so I thought I should try it and see how it goes,” she said.
