SOUTH African based musician Teekay Mxoexic has opened a humanitarian organisation named Nkanyezi Foundation Aid, which aims to help in changing the lives of vulnerable people in rural areas.

On New Year’s Eve, the organisation made a donation of new baby clothes to Lady Baring Rural Hospital in Bulilima District, Matabeleland South province.
Mxoexic said Nkanyezi is a foundation that aims to help and give back to the community.
“We collected clothes from different donors, and then we decided to donate them at Lady Baring Rural Hospital, because it is my home, where I was born. We will be doing more of such initiatives this year as we want to help those in need.
“We would like to recognise our sponsors, Wenzile Dube and Queen T Moyo, who helped us in realising this dream. We are forever grateful,” he said.

On a lighter note, the muso released a new music video for his song Ngidli Mali Yami on December 24. The Lekompo-inspired track was produced by Ntu2kay, with the visuals done by Visuals by Corey.
The video features comedian and content creator Sajakhobe, poet Mkhululi Nyathi, and Spikiri.

Teekay Mxoexic said he is also working on a new music medley, which will feature various artistes.
“My upcoming medley will be a first of its kind in Bulawayo, as I featured talented artistes like Black Diva, Ma9ine, Bhila, Mzoe7, La Dee, Novuyo Seagirl, Tee x Tekie, Mlue Jay and Makhoe Drey. The song is produced by Ntu2kay and T-Flow.
“The idea of this project came up when I was in Tsholotsho for the Rhumba Dance Festival on December 6. Some beat elements of the song were created by Brema of Insimbi ZeZhwane, making the joint more appealing,” said Teekay Mxoexic.
