THE Triple M – Manyowa (Janet), Minister (Michael Mahendere) and Mlalazi (Everton) – illuminated the night at the “Ada Ehi Concert” at the Harare International Conference Centre last Saturday.
Gospel wheel-spinner, DJ Unlocked, kept the fans on their toes with her fine performance.
Nyasha Mutonhori had the opening performance followed by the gospel couple Sharon and Ellard Cherayi and the consistent Everton Mlalazi.
Gospel diva Manyowa won the hearts of many when she sang Mai Olivia Charamba’s songs.
She was followed by Minister Mahendere, who ran around the VIP section, sending the crowd wild.
“Michael Mahendere is a brilliant performer. I felt the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“I’m a worship addict and I make sure that I attend most of the events when I’m off work and last week I was with Manyowa, Ellard and Sharon Cherayi and Mutonhori at the Steff Paradise’s music launch.
“Mahendere definitely brought his A game,” said Rudo Chiweshe, who was part of the crowd.
Another fan, only identified as Mai Chauruka, added:
“I was surprised when Mahendere ran around us,” she said.
“It was unexpected, and I really enjoyed his performance.
“I’m glad he is one of our own.
“I have already forgiven Ada for not surpassing Mahendere’s performance, Mahendere brought his A game, and his music is relatable.”
