Tumba quits City, set to leave for the UK

TATENDA Tumba has left Harare City to go to the United Kingdom to pursue his studies.

The forward says the club will remain his home.

“City will remain my home and will always be in my heart,” he said.

The club confirmed the forward’s departure.

“Today, we say farewell to our midfielder, Tatenda ‘Boss Tumba’ Tumba, who is leaving the club to start a new journey.

“Tatenda joined the Sunshine Boys as a junior and was later promoted to play for the first team.

“He made his first team debut in 2016. During his time, Boss Tumba was part of the squads that won us two Chibuku Super Cups.

“It has been a great pleasure to have you at Harare City FC, we will never forget your hard work. “The Club’s management and all stakeholders wish you success in your new journey. Thank you Boss Tumba,” read the club statement.
