TWO alleged armed robbers who brutally stabbed a 23-year-old Polytechnic student and Brethren in Christ church member leading to her death have appeared in court.
Thamsanqa Ndebele and Euton Sebatha appeared in court last week on Saturday before magistrate Mehuli Moyo and they were not asked to plead.
They were remanded in custody until 18 November where they will appear before a regional magistrate. They were self-actors.

It is alleged that on 4 November at around 8PM Ndebele and Sebatha ambushed Inobubele Mhlanga (23) near TM in CowdrayPark suburb. They reportedly robbed her of US$30.
While the pair were robbing her it is said the deceased recognised Sebatha and mentioned him by his name. Seeing that he had been identified Sebatha allegedly stabbed Mhlanga several times causing her to sustain serious stab wounds and died while she was being transported to hospital.
The pair fled and headed to a local night spot where they squandered the money on booze.
The matter was reported to the police leading to the arrest of the pair.
A knife which they used in mercilessly stabbing Mhlanga was recovered and would be used in court as exhibit.
