ZANU PF is undergoing renewal and modernisation under President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s leadership, said party national chairman, Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri.
Speaking at celebrations honouring Dr Paul Tungwarara’s elevation to the ZANU PF Central Committee, Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri described Cde Tungwarara as an exceptional cadre with impressive credentials, including facilitating high-level investment meetings and empowerment schemes.
Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri donated goods to the community, including rice, cooking oil, and sugar, on behalf of President Mnangagwa. Cde Tungwarara was co-opted to fill a vacancy left by Cde Dorothy Mabika, now Manicaland provincial Women’s League chairlady.
Cde Muchinguri-Kashiri highlighted Cde Tungwarara’s role in driving socio-economic development, aligning with the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2) and Vision 2030 goals.
She urged locals to participate in thriving business ventures, citing Chipinge’s potential in tea, coffee, and sugarcane production.
ZANU PF provincial chairman, Cde Tawanda Mukodza said the province was united and working to empower members, supporting Constitutional Amendment Bill Number 3 to extend President Mnangagwa’s term to 2030.
Minister of State for Manicaland, Advocate Misheck Mugadza, praised Mnangagwa’s leadership, highlighting development progress and the importance of inclusive governance, unity, and national security for sustainable development.
