ZANU PF Mashonaland West youth chairperson, Cde Tapiwa Masenda, has donated 150 pairs of new shoes to underprivileged learners at three schools in Hurungwe East Constituency.

The new shoes come as a relief and an incentive to attend school daily to the 150 learners who were walking long distaces barefoot to get to school.

The donation also came at a time when many, who never wore school shoes in their learning life, had been enduring walking barefoot in the cold winter season.

Cde Masenda, who is also partnering with Tinoda Trust, led by Fagio Zvondai Marowa, said there was a need for collective efforts to help needy learners.

“I urge leaders and well-wishers to join our ‘Donate a Shoe’ campaign, extending support to more remote schools across all constituencies. Together, we can make a meaningful difference,” he said.

Cde Masenda, also paid fees for 10 vulnerable children each at Madzimoyo, Wino and Kangurunguru Primary Schools.
