Zim U-13 leave for Poland

The 16-member team will be under the guidance of Zimbabwe football legend, Peter Ndlovu, and his former Warriors’ teammate, Edzai Kasinauyo.
Kasinauyo believes the team will leave a huge impression in Europe.
“The team is ready and looking at the training, which they did for a month, you can see they have done enough and I am sure they will play well,” said Kasinauyo.
“We are happy that not only will the team play to try and win matches but also to get experience and exposure that comes with playing at such a global level.
“It’s their first time to make such a tour so we are glad that they are going to get a chance to rub shoulders with other players worldwide.
“We are building junior football and everything starts at grassroots so the opportunity to take part at the VW World Junior Masters is the best start for the boys.
“Zifa Junior football has done a lot for this journey and we are very grateful and the boys are excited and cannot wait to play.” Team captain, Tatenda Muringani, said he was overwhelmed to be chosen to represent his country.
“This is my first time to be given an opportunity to represent the nation overseas, I am very excited and happy,” said Muringani.
“It is a dream come true, I never saw this coming though I did all I could to be among the sixteen players.
“And I will try and make my country proud.”
