THE Zimbabwe Under-19 rugby squad that will be travelling to South Africa for the Craven Week has been announced.

The 23-member team was trimmed from a provisional squad of 32 players that was selected at Lomagundi College during national trials last month.

Because of limited resources the team will only converge for a week-long training camp before the trip to South Africa.

The 53rd edition of the Craven Week will be held in the province of KwaZulu Natal at Kearsney College – a private school situated some 40 kilometres from the Durban city centre – from 11 to 16 July.

The Craven Week is an annual schoolboys rugby tournament organised by the South African Rugby Union (SARU) and was first played in July 1964.
