Zim upbeat about new Pastel software

many of the companies using Pastel Evolution were outgrowing the existing applications, hence the need for a new version.
The new version was being introduced for business optimisation using information technology infrastructure, which has become the global trend on the African continent.
New features that will come with version 6.80 include a retail point of sale function that will allow for lay-byes, promotions, automatic lot item selections in invoices and customer inventory enquiries that include transactions.
The multi-currency feature will allow, among other things, for auto journal reversals and foreign bank accounts revaluation, while the inventory function will allow for reserving and enable pricing managers to easily add prices against warehouses or groups across branches. — CAJ News.
