ZIMBABWE and Zambia are set to strengthen their relationship through a music project code-named “Zambia Zimbabwe Initiative” which will see more than 10 artists contributing.
A brainchild of Zhomba Entertainment, the project is aimed at strengthening the special relationship which exists between Zambians and Zimbabweans.
More than 10 artists from Zimbabwe and Zambia will be part of the project.
Zhomba Entertainment CEO, Kuziva Mtandiro, said:
“The project is part of a broader Zambia – Zimbabwe Initiative which seeks to deepen bilateral relations between Zambia and Zimbabwe through commerce, trade, arts and culture.
“It was produced by Muzo Beats from Zambia, Noxter, D Flexx, BabyDon, T1, Miss Dilo, Empress DJ Lioness among others.”
The project was sponsored by Mumba Money, a Zimbabwe financial services provider, which operates across SADC and Priscins Petals, a high-end clothing label.
One of the artists from Zambia, Fabiola Mukonda, said:
“Zambia and Zimbabwe are sisters and the bond that exists between our people and cultures is unbreakable.”
Fabiola said she looks forward to performing in Zimbabwe, and working on several projects with Zimbabwean musicians, and radio stations.
“I am looking forward to enjoying this project.”
The project also carries hits such as Magnet by Fabiola Mukonda, Losing Focus by Noxter, Tafura by BabyDon featuring Noxter, Kata Kata by T1NE Bouy, among others.
