Master coach, Dr Aderino Nyabanga, has been named the 2025 coach of the decade by the International Coaching and Mentoring Foundation (ICMF).
The award underscores his role as a faith-driven leader and positions national coaching on the global stage.
The award, presented at the ICMF’s 10th Annual Coach Certification and Coaching Awards in Harare recently, highlighted what Dr Nyabanga has achieved: sustained excellence in leadership and community empowerment.
Dr Nyabanga emphasised service to vulnerable communities through his ministries and charity foundation, which provide food, clothing and education to orphans and widows.
“Our mission is to build leaders who serve with integrity and compassion. Whether on the pulpit, the boardroom, or the community, we are called to uplift and empower,” he said.
Dr Nyabanga’s influence extends across borders. He has previously been invited to speak in South Korea, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, South Africa, Mozambique, and Tanzania, while his message has been amplified through regional media platforms.
He said international collaboration is key to building a brighter future.
“We are forging partnerships that will empower the next generation of leaders across Africa and the world.”
The ICMF, with over 2 300 certified coaches, reserves its highest honour for individuals who demonstrate transformative impact.
In this regard, Dr Nyabanga said the recognition signals the growing visibility of African leadership in global coaching.
“This award is not just a personal milestone, but a testament to the power of faith-driven leadership and the spirit of Ubuntu that guides our work,” said Dr Nyabanga.
“I am deeply humbled and inspired to continue transforming lives, both in Zimbabwe and on the international stage.”
He said the initiatives align with Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030, focusing on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship and social cohesion through platforms like the Legacy Builders Global Hub.
“We are not just building businesses; we are building legacies. Our goal is to equip individuals with the skills and mindset to thrive in a changing world,” said Dr Nyabanga.
Dr Nyabanga said he is expecting to expand his influence in Government ministries, churches, and international organisations, advancing leadership and social development initiatives.
“The journey continues, together, we can elevate Africa’s voice in the world and create opportunities for all.”
