The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Zimbabwe has invited stakeholders from the media, business, and technology sectors to participate in the upcoming BRIDGE Summit 2025, scheduled to take place from December 8 to 10, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The summit, which will run under the theme “Bridging the New Global Media Ecosystem,” will mark the inaugural edition of BRIDGE — a global platform designed to connect innovators, policymakers, and media leaders in shaping the future of communication and digital exchange.

It offers media houses an opportunity to boost innovation, gain insights into new technologies and practices transforming journalism and broadcasting worldwide.

The summit, it said, offers media houses a chance to showcase their growing creative and digital sectors, attracting partnerships and investment.

Other benefits the UAE Embassy listed include the opportunity to build skills and networks. “Local professionals will have the chance to learn from global peers and establish lasting collaborations that can enrich Zimbabwe’s media and technology landscape,” it said.

Analysts say Zimbabwe stands to benefit particularly in expanding its digital economy and improving the global visibility of its narratives, culture, and development agenda.
